- 1. Why did Fadi’s father, Habib, choose to return to Afghanistan? What does this choice tell you about Habib? If you were a member of Habib’s family, how would you have felt about this decision?

Habib chose to return so he could help with the problems and the war going on. Also so Zoonfana could run a school of her
ReplyDeleteown. I think that he is a very thoughtful man because he is always thinking of others especially his country. If I was in his family I would of wanted to stay because of the danger in the country.
I agree that he is thoughtful.
Delete1. Habib chose to return to Afghanistan because he thought it was their duty to go back and his student visa was going to run out. That tells you that Habib wants to help his country and is determined. I would want to stay in Wisconsin because of what was on the news and how they were taking over Afghanistan.
ReplyDelete2. Meriam got lost and didn't make it onto the truck so she got left behind. Zafoona really wants to go back and find her because she is her "baby". Noor thinks it is Fadi's fault that she didn't make it on the truck. Fadi thinks that it is either his fault or his fathers fault. Habib is trying to get a lot of people to look for her.
Fadi let go of Mariam's hand and she wasn't able to get back on the truck before it left. The older sister Noor is angry because Fadi let go of Mariam's hand. The dad Habib is worried about her daughter but wants the family to cross the border first. The mom Zoonfana is scared becuase she dosen't know if Mariam is safe. Fadi is probaly scared to but also down becuase some people are blaming him of Mariam being lost.
ReplyDelete1. I think that Habib wanted to go back to Afghanistan because he wanted to bring back peace. I think that Habib is kind of selfish because he just wants to go back and he didn't talk to his family about it. If I was in his family, I would be very upset because he didn't talk to us about it. I would want to start a new life in a different country.
ReplyDelete2. Mariam falls off the truck, looking for her doll in the crowd of people. Fadi let go of Mariam's hand and he thinks that it's his fault. Everyone is very sad.
Habib wanted to go back to Afghanistan because he wanted peace again. I think habib is selfish because he only wants to leave and didn't talk to them. If I was one of his family members i would be furious because he just left out of nowhere. I would want to look for him.
